Pine Doors
There are hundreds of varieties of pine in the world. Our pine doors are usually built with eastern white pine or radiata pine. The eastern white as the name implies is native to the New England area of the United States. It was used extensively for furniture and woodworking in Colonial America. Radiata Pine, a fast growing tree is a first cousin to Ponderosa Pine and is grown primarily on plantations. Radiata pine is the most common species used in door construction today because of its abundant supply and economical price. Both radiata and eastern white pine finish to a fine luster.
